COMPRESSOR STATION
CHARLESTON, WV

CHALLENGE
A new compressor station site needed solution to provide slope stability and stormwater control to protect compressor equipment and personnel from potential landslides.

SOLUTION
Pinnacle Design/Build installed a series of water control items, which included two slope surface drains, three lined surface drains, 1,210 LF of earthen swale, and approximately 990 LF of subdrains for water collection and management in order to protect the site assets. To stabilize the slope, a total area of 49,000 SF of TECCO Anchored Mesh was installed on top of the existing hydroseeded 2:1 slope located directly above the site assets.

VALUE
Pinnacle Design/Build provided value engineering to supply this client a cost-effective design solution for the unique design constraints provided by the project.
