CHALLENGE
The developer of a higher end retail center required a retaining wall solution to maximize excavation with an aesthetic facing that blended with the natural surroundings.

SOLUTION
Pinnacle Design/Build provided the engineering and construction for an economical and adaptable solution through the use of a MSE Welded Wire Form Retaining Wall. The rock & wire facing provided an excellent surface for a creeping ivy plant’s growth, which eventually covered the wall entirely.

VALUE
The excavation of the existing rock was minimized because of the wall’s construction flexibility. The cost was minimized through the use of primarily natural, readily available materials.
