CHALLENGE
The owner of this electric transmission substation required a retention system for hill side stability of active infrastructure, the facilitation of grading, and access road activities.

SOLUTION
Pinnacle Design/Build installed a Soldier Pile retaining wall system using 40 wide flange steel piles painted with a corrosion inhibitor paint to protect against environmental degradation. Precast concrete panels were used for the permanent fascia and earth retention.
